Cricut Cardz Challenge #39

Here is the card I created for the Cricut Cardz Challenge this week. For challenge #39 we had to make something for "Back to School". I did just that for this card! I used the cartridge Locker Talk for all cuts. I also used my Cricut DesignStudio for the first time ever. I made my card base by welding together the apple shape and a "flip" of the same apple shape.

I'm going to send this card to Sophia's Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Rufo, who moved to a different school this year. We miss her very much so we'd thought we'd send her this card to say "hello" and wish her a great year!

  1. How great that you used your Design Studio to create your shaped card. It's really cute. I used this same cut for my DT project for next week's CCC. Make sure you check back on Wednesday to see my apple project. Thanks for playing along with us.

  2. Your card turned out great! I'm sure Mrs. Rufo will so appreciate your throughtfullness. And I love the ribbon you added to the stem. I don't have Design Studio. I've been thinking about getting it. Do you think it's something you would use again and again? You can email me at northrose@slowar.com. Thanks for playing with us at CCC! :) Janis
